Despite innovative green mobility solutions being deployed and the political support it has received, passenger mobility is falling behind its emission reduction goals set by governments around the world. The shift to multimodal transport is often mentioned at the top of the list of transformations that will substantially contribute to ambitious emission targets. Yet, multimodality and its enabler, Mobility as a Service, has yet to deliver on its promises and set passenger mobility on the path to net-zero.
