Iomob’s latest live deployment powers Brightline’s world-leading seamless door-to-door mobility experience

Iomob are pleased to announce the November 2021 launch of its first US deployment following a highly competitive global competition in which Brightline selected Iomob to power its new brand Brightline+, a door-to-door journey planning and transportation service, ahead of dozens of competitors.

Iomob supercharges apps and platforms with a plug and play mobility on demand capability. Iomob’s middleware solution includes a proprietary journey planner and amazing user experiences which combine public, private, and shared mobility. Through just one integration, Iomob grants clients an all-access-pass to more than 7,000 mobility-service providers.

Brightline, the only private provider of modern, eco-friendly, intercity rail in the United States, is reimagining passenger rail. As the first fully-accessible rail operator with level platforms and wider carriages,  Brightline maintains some of the world’s best physical rail infrastructure. In collaboration with Iomob, Brightline will power one of the world’s best digital mobility infrastructures also.

Following a pandemic-induced hiatus, Brightline is returning to regular services on Nov. 8, but, with Iomob supporting its mass digital innovation, it won’t be business as usual.

Brightline’s new app will include Iomob’s proprietary journey planner which will allow Brightline customers to discover, route, book, and pay for seamless, multimodal door-to-door journeys. Brightline+ will be launching with a selection of integrated mobility services from Iomob including a fleet of shuttle services and privately chauffeured electric vehicles which will support customers’ first and last mile services. Future installments of the solution will also include micro-mobility and public transport services, and in the near future, an integrated parking solution will allow users to consider their private vehicle in their door-to-door trip planning and purchase.

Brightline, the US’s only privately funded rail operator, are thought-leaders in the future of rail and share in Iomob’s net-zero ambitions, redefining passenger rail and its role in combating climate change and improving communities.

Iomob is proud to be powering a mobility experience that not only competes with, but exceeds, the convenience of car travel. This collaboration with Brightline is a testament to Iomob’s commitment to greener, more accessible and seamlessly integrated mobility which delivers value and experiences which are better for your customers, and better for the planet.
